Andreas Gehlhaar (* October 2, 1971 in Hamburg) is Head of Sustainability and Environment and Noise Protection Officer of Deutsche Bahn AG. Andreas Gehlhaar has been Head of the new Sustainability and Environment Department of Deutsche Bahn AG since January 2020. Since 2016 he has been head of the Environment Department. In January 2017, he also took over the position of the Group's Noise Abatement Officer. Until 2016, he was group leader in the Chancellor's Office, where he was responsible for the Cabinet, Parliament, relations between the federal and state governments, and the environment and transport. From 2009 to 2013, Andreas Gehlhaar was office manager of the head of the Federal Chancellery and from 2005 to 2009 office manager of the CDU Secretary General. Prior to that, economist Gehlhaar was a speaker in the German Bundestag.
