More power, lower consumption: The new PerfectDry dishwashers from Bosch

Munich, Germany. The PerfectDry dishwasher family from Bosch has
always delivered maximum cleaning power and efficiency and superior
drying performance, even for plasticware. The brand is now releasing a
new range that highlights these high standards. As special features, a
third basket creates space for more dishes, while the innovative Extra
Clean Zone ensures even better and more efficient cleaning.

A basket for every need
The basket system in the new PerfectDry dishwashers introduce some
ingenious details. Brilliant innovations include new pull-out systems,
silicon elements in the upper basket that are gentle on glasses while
optimally holding them in place, and an extra-wide DosageAssist
detergent dispenser where detergent tabs dissolve even more efficiently
than before. But that’s not all: The new PerfectDry dishwashers have or
can be retrofitted with an additional third basket above the upper basket.
This boosts their capacity by 25 percent and makes room for more small
dishes like espresso cups, small bowls, wire whisks, and larger cooking
utensils. It’s ideal for small plastic bowls in particular, because they’re
held securely in place and can’t flip over. The wavy pattern in the basket
prevents dishes from shifting. The knife rack holds knives securely,
protecting both the basket from damage and users from injury. One
especially clever feature is that part of the basket can be moved. This
means, for example, that long-stemmed wine glasses or tall beer glasses
can still be placed in the upper basket where they otherwise wouldn’t fit.
This extra capacity can mean fewer dishwashing cycles, which is better
for users and for the environment.

Clean redefined
Encrusted muesli bowls? Dessert bowls with burned-on crème brûlée?
Until now, “problem cases” like these have often required laborious and
time-consuming pre- or post-treatment – which is why Bosch invented the
Extra Clean Zone at the front of the upper basket. Three rotating nozzles
continuously spray the dishes with water, easily removing even dried-on
foods. Because of the extra water, the Extra Clean Zone doesn’t require a
high temperature. The new feature can easily be switched on or off
directly at the nozzles as needed.

Sustainably dry
Nevertheless, dishwashers are judged not only by their cleaning
performance but also by their drying performance. This is where Bosch’s
many years of expertise in Zeolith drying pay off. This natural mineral
extracts moisture and releases it as heat, which creates the energy-saving
and extremely effective PerfectDry drying process. Plastic dishes in
particular, which can be found in many households in the form of lunch
boxes, plastic cups, and baby bottles, are dried so thoroughly that they
can be put away in the cupboard immediately with no additional drying –
which means less hassle and less energy consumption.*

More relaxation
When a dishwasher does its job perfectly, people can sit back and relax.
And now this luxurious feeling can be expanded thanks to Home Connect.
Connected PerfectDry dishwashers can be monitored and operated at
any time from any location, including from the sofa. If the user decides to
take a short nap, they can use the “Silence on Demand” feature to reduce
the noise level of the already-quiet appliance to a minimum for a period
of 30 minutes. Frequently used programmes and settings can also be
saved and activated with the touch of a finger, either via the app or
directly on the dishwasher. Hands full? No problem! Thanks to voice
control, the new PerfectDry dishwashers can also be controlled by voice
in conjunction with Home Connect, for example, or Alexa or Google
Home**. The future of dishwashing is looking very easy and relaxed!
